How Many Guinea Pigs For 4x4 C&c

i have a 4x4 c&c and recently I saw a lone pig for adoption and wondered if I could bond them with my two pigs, unfortunately he was a male and I have females, but this made me wonder if i was to see some more females for adoption would 3 or 4 guinea pigs live comfortably together in a 4x4
I'm not purposefully looking for pigs but would love to give to homeless pigs a new home!
also i haven't been on here for about a year so hey guys xD

I would say you could have 3 or 4 girls in a cage that size.
And the beauty of a C&C is that if you do try to introduce a new piggie (or two) and it doesn't work out, then you could always split the cage to have 2 separate pairs.

We have a 4 x 3 C&C with a 1 x 3 loft and have a boar and three sows living together quite happily.

Back to the forum. You could have 4 piggies in that space if they were sows or a neutered boar and sows.
