I just bought the bluebell hideaway hutch from Pets at home and was wondering how many Guinea pigs it could accommodate btw the measurements are 152cm long by 61cm width and it has 2 levels

152 x 61 is the minimum requirement for 3 piggies. two levels dont count as twice as much space tho, so 3 piggies would be the max.

Oh! just noticed it was your first post. Welcome to the forum:) If you look at the different sections on the home page you will find lots of useful sticky threads about housing, etc:)

Oh thank you I have three boys that will be moving into it soon so I hope they enjoy it

Welcome to the forum. Definitely no more than 3. I had 4 in mine when I first had pigs and it was a squeeze. I do like the bluebell hutch though!

Yeah luckily I've only got 3 I will probably also attach a run to it that they will have access to during the day to give them some extra room

Yeah luckily my three get on really well as my older one Charlie who is nearly 2 years old is very laid back and the other two babies are quite lively but it doesn't bother him. They've now been living with each other for a few months with out any problems apart from their first introduction to each other.
Charlie is the piggie in my profile btw with his old friend who died Chester

Here's a pic of all three together!
I may be wrong as I'm not completely sure how to tell which Guinea pig is most dominant but Casper (the grey and white pig) seems to be the most dominant out of the 3 which I find unusual as younger Guinea pigs are normally submissive to the older Guinea pig or atleast that is what I thought!

Oh god I never had a towel with me when I bonded my trio but I guess I just got lucky as my three bonded quite well

they say that younger ones apparently get on ok with older ones but mine only month age gap and was the 2 dominant ones who went for it dale chattered his teeth chips got in first go if u like then the chasing I knew chips didn't mean to bite me he looked so scared bless him ive never tried again

Yeah that's why I got younger ones to go with Charlie as his cage mate died
Iam a bit worried about when the two younger ones get older as I've heard that they then start to mature and become more dominant but I think they will be fine as they get on really well
