I only want to make a 2X4 which is 12 grids. And they come in packs of 17. But i'm not sure whether i should get two sets (34 grids) so i can play around with the idea of a stand or loft. I've been asking a lot of questions about C&C lately as i'm just waiting for my store to get the grids in stock and they said they would sent out 3 packs and i can choose how many i need out of those.

i don't know whether to be frugal and just get the one or get two so i have more to play around with!

obviously 2 will be double the price and that's the only thing holding me back, so i'm wondering if anyone has benefits of getting the extra that can outweigh the price or an opinion on what way to do this.

We have spare boxes which we use alot to be honest. If the weathers nice we make a run out of them to put in the garden and when we're cleaning them out we used to make another cage to plonk them in ( although now we just let them run around downstairs whilst we do it )

Plus it means if you want to change the caging round you have spares to do it :)

Listen to that little voice, that saying "Just do it". You won't regret it, I got 3 boxes, and have none left ...8..., no more playing with my cage, but I must say I am finally happy with my cage and I have 6 or 7 grids left over which I use for a little run out the back, when they go out to eat some grass :).

Ahahaha! Joanne! There is that little voice saying 'Just do it' that made me laugh because it was so true! I think you guys are right I'll get the extra box. My entire family of course will groan they already think I'm too guinea pig obsessed but I can't help it! I'm even getting a smaller narrower wardrobe so I can fit in my C&C...

Well the one I have now really is just a long metal thing that you can hang coats off with coathangers. I'm going to get a real cheap narrow metal/canvas one. Lol these piggies will dominate my room!
