How many Corner Toilets?

I have a 2 tier wooden hutch (Bluebell hideaway from Pets@Home) (It's nice and big by the way)
So, I've got 1 corner toilet, I'll be getting 2 sows, and I will have the loo downstairs at the right back corner (near the ramp entrance), but the upstairs is large as well, so they will be spending most of their time (excluding sleep) downstairs. But do you think I need another loo upstairs, but I don't want to over crowd, so maybe I'd be best to let them just ''do their business'' upstairs freely?

You'll do very well if you can teach them to use a toilet. Unlike rabbits, guinea pigs don't tend to use a toilet. They just do it where they're standing. I find that mine poo mainly when they're eating so spot cleaning round their bowls gets rid of a lot of it.
 
Actually, my 3 boys seem to poo almost exclusively in the corners. But no other piggies I have had have done this. I would put one in every corner!
 
I have the same hutch. They use 2 corners in the bedroom - front right, back left. Right at the bottom of the ramp is a favourite. Downstairs front right corner is a winner. Right along the left side which is where their logs are. Oh, and under the ramp.

In fact the only corner they don't use is the one with the corner litter tray in it!

So I need one upstairs too?
 
I think the general rule is - if it is dark and covered, they will pee there. So if that if the route you are going down then yes - I would put one in the bedroom. I am now accepting the fact that the entire hutch is a toilet corner!

Will do! I hope to fill the corner toilets with some hay- so they should be attracted to it! Problem is they will have a hay rack too! So I'll have to see where they prefer! XD

Yeah - I tried that too. That's why the litter tray is now just a giant hay bowl with lots of poo around it and not much in it!
