I just got my new girl Rio yesterday and I'm eager to get her and my other girls out of the garage and inside away from the wind where they're in cages next to each other while my new girl settles in. I dont want to stress Rio out by doing too much at once but I can't help but feel she's getting stressed out by being alone and getting scared by the garage creaking in the wind. :( She has a cuddley toy in for company already.
Any advice would be appeciated.

Where did she come from?

I would personally recommend leaving her by herself for two weeks so not to spread any potential infections/illnesses. Is it possible to put them in the same room so they can talk but they're not actually together?

She came from a rescue so she's already been quarentined for infection. They are in a hutch and run with my new girl in the hutch and my other two in the run so they can see each other through the bars of the hutch. I've put their food bowls as close to the bars as possible so they can eat with each other.

I would bring them in; quarantaine is only necessary if a piggy is from a place where that hasn't been done yet.

If you can, keep them side by side for at least a few hours to help Rio get the bearing and meet the new neighbour before intros. See how interest is through the bears and make your decision based on that.

They already met at the rescue and they got on well. I think I'll introduce them tonight. I've got work this afternoon so i'll leave them in the hutch/run to get used to each other through the bars for another couple of hours. Thank you for the information, i have introduced before so I know most of the information anyway. :)

Let us know how it all goes - I had zero problems when I introduced all of my girls :))
Sure they will all be very happy together -c

They're all together :) been no signs of dominance yet they're acting like nothing's different. Rio's having fun exploring her new home while my older girls tuck into a plate of grass and veg. Rio's doing a bit of popcorning :)) and standing up on the bars to see what i'm doing. x)

Well my girls are happily bonded. :) Things don't seem to different since i got Rio as my two older girls were having dominance issues to begin with. She fits in so well I can't believe this is only her 3rd day here. They came out for cuddles together and all curled up together, chatted away to each other then fell asleep on my lap x)
