How long does hay last

Hi
When my girls had lice back in the summer (July time) I stopped using the hay I had brought. I put a basically full bag away in the cupboard and had forgotten about it! I’ve just found it, the bag has been wrapped up properly and only had a small amount used at the time. Will this still be ok to use now or shall I just throw?

It’ll be fine. Hay lasts a very long time if stored properly. Its only if it had got damp (either through being in rain or through condensation in plastic bags) that you have a problem

It should be fine. Use the sniff test. And the piggies will always tell you if it’s not good
