How long does baytril take to expire after opened?

From a quick search it seems baytril shelf life is 28 days after it’s been opened

Please remember that although it can be tempting to use old medication on a piggy, please always see a vet first for a proper diagnosis.
Using old meds, or meds to treat something that has not been properly diagnosed can make things worse, and make a proper diagnosis harder by masking some of the initial symptoms.

I'm only doing it because she had a uri a few weeks ago and she was only on it for 7 days, and it just came back so i’m giving her some antibiotics i still have and seeing how she does then deciding whether or not i need to make her an appointment. I'm thinking about just calling tomorrow though just to be safe .

but thank you for the advice and i’ve decided to just call the vet tomorrow and ask them what they think i should do

On your other thread you said you were going to call the vet a couple of days ago. Please do call them in the morning as you should not delay where respiratory infections are concerned.

You really do need to see a vet.
The problem with reusing an antibiotic that previously didin't work is that this is one of the ways that antibiotic resistance can occur.
If she completed the prescribed course and the problem came back then it is important to see the vet so they can give a different antibiotic to fully deal with the problem.
If it didin't work the first time then chances are it won't work this time either.

When one of my piggies had urinary problems it actually took several different antibiotics to finally sort it out.
