I’m from the US, it’s going to be 50 degrees Fahrenheit when i take them to the vet. I have to walk, it’s only a 5 minute walk but we also have a wind advisory so I’m worried something will happen to them :( i could take an Uber if i have to but was wondering how long until it is unsafe for them to be in 50 degrees? They’re gonna be in separate carriers so they can’t keep each other warm.

It’s the sudden change in temperature from indoors to outdoors which is the issue.
It doesn’t sound like it’s a long walk and obviously getting to the vet is essential. I would stuff their carriers with hay so they can snuggle in, hay will help insulate the carrier. Put blankets or towels over the carrier to block any wind from getting in.

You could also consider adding heating pads to the carriers so they can lay on those if they feel cold.
The key will be blocking the wind, so as has already been suggested just stuff the carriers with hay and put a towel or fleece over the top.
I think they would be fine for such a short time.
