How Long can a guinea pig take the Baytril?

My piggie has interstitial cystitis and her bladder wall and her urethra got thickened.
I take her urine to the vet regularly to have it checked. She got bacterial infection so we started on Baytril.

How long a guinea pig can take Baytril? 21 days is okay? Or can we extend it to 28 days?
I want to knock out the bacteria from her body.
Her weight is stabil and she is eating and drinking well.
 
You must give her the antibiotic for as long as your vet has prescribed. If the course isn’t long enough and the bacterial infection remains then the vet can prescribe another course, but don’t extend the course under your own steam - the vet needs to tell you whether she needs further medication
