How is best to clean my guinea pigs?

Hi, I was researching how best to wash my piggies, and apparently you should clean their grease gland. Is this just for males, or for females too, as I have two girls and I’m not sure if they need their grease glands cleaned. Also, can I clean them with avocado oil? I know they can’t eat avocado, but I thought washing them with the oil might be okay. Thanks

Most piggies rarely if ever need washing, although occasionally some might need a bum bath or grease gland clean.
