How Do You Wash Your Fleece?

Ive only just changed to fleece recently and I'm banned from putting their blankets into the washing machine in case it gets clogged up with hay and fleece and breaks soo...

I blast the blankets with a jet wash to remove the majority of hay and hair, then hand wash in a bucket and then hang them out to dry.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do in the winter when its freezing cold..

You can wash them in a horse wash bag. It saves your washing machine.

I use horse wash bags too. You can buy them from ebay. I think an old pillowcase tied at the top does the same job

Or you can use an old duvet cover also, that is how I wash mine in the washer.
