My pigs are indoor so it's not a huge concern yet, however they live in my kitchen which has started to get very cold at night and is only going to get colder.
They're on fleece bedding and have fleece hides as well as boxes of hay. I've also ordered one of those heat pads.

Is there any signs I would see if they were cold?

I'd like to know this too. Don't really want to have to put the heating on all night.

I think i read on here, that if you feel its cold then so will they.. I worry about mine so in a short while the heating will go on at night and if it drops below 12 or 14 it will kick in... i have used a snuggle heat pad but never seen them sit on it lol !

They have naturally higher body temperatures than us. I've noticed when my pigs are in their run they snuggle up together if it gets chilly, and we bring them in.

My girls love their snuggle safe heat pad! Smudge popcorns whenever she sees me placing it in the cage.

I will order a second one, when I get paid next week

The heat pad came today. A lot hard than I was expecting! I'll see how they get on with that. I just worry about them being cold at night :(

mine wont sit on them - even with the fleece cover on they are as hard as a rock - only thing I can think of is to put one inside a cosy - I even bough a hand made cover off ebay and it was still too hard.
