hi i have a guinea pig i have rehomed today with lice i have shampooed her with johnsons fleas ,lice and ticks shampoo and have combed her with a nit comb is there anything else i should do ?

I would change bedding as well. :) I have a herd of licey's at the mo and I'm waiting for me lice n easy from gorgeous guineas to arrive, it's brilliant stuff. Damn hay, it certainly is the season for lice right now! Hope they clear up soon! :)

Deffo the gorgeous guinea lice and easy, no need to use other shampoos etc with it although a lice comb is always handy. You can get trial sizes as well which is great if you have only one pig to treat although no harm in having a larger bottle of it in the press.

We've just got all of ours over a bout of lice aswell, just make sure you follow up treatment on day 7 or you're back to square 1

Sunshine is quite narked with his I've been brushing him until the Lice N Easy arrives which will be tomorrow as money has been taken on the 18th. My lot arn't heavily infested but you can see them. I have been brushing for what good it does although I haven't seen any on the girls since.

Horrid things but thankfully at least it isn't mites! Imagine 10 pigs with mites ...jeez thats costly!
