Hello, my guinea pigs currently live in a cage in the front room however due to the allergys of some people in my household we are moving them to an outdoor hutch. I was wondering how we could reduce the guinea pigs stress to moving to a new cage?

Perhaps use some of their soiled bedding in the hutch? And arrange it the same as indoors. I’m just guessing though. I’m sure they will be fine and too busy exploring.

Take some of their used bedding to the new hutch as it will then still smell of them.
Once you move them, monitor then but perhaps leave them alone to settle for a while. Some piggies handle a move much more easily than others so you will have to see how yours are.

Yes, I would take some of their used bedding so it still smells of them and give them plenty of hideys so they feel safe😃💕
