How do i bond a herd of 6 guinea pigs?

Please take the time to read the green guide links.

Be aware that merging sow groups often fails when the former lead sows cannot come to an understanding about which of them comes top. sometimes bondings can also fail over a lower ranked sow not accepting the new mates or her lower place in the ranking and her top sow is getting behind her and closing ranks against the other group.

It always comes down to the personalities involved and the unique dynamics between them. There is no magic want trick that makes piggies live happily with each other. Piggies are every bit as complex personalities as humans. Ever tried to tall a child to be friends with another they are rowing with?

When bonding at home you always need to have a plan B in case your dream of one happy big group is not coming off; that is my own experience after coming up toward 100 bonding attempts, including groups of all sorts, building them up or sorting out permanent fall-outs.

They seemed fine , we bonded them for like 3 hours a day for a week and they seemed fine , got along great .
We cleaned out the cage and put them all in there together , they seemed to get along great ( some were already bonded with eachother , like before i had them all in pairs or trios )

Theres only 2 who don't get along the rest are okay .

That’s not really how bonding works. Introducing them and then separating then introducing again on another day is not really how it works. The guides that have been linked in explains. If you put them together and then separate multiple times, then it interrupts their processes causing them to start all over again. The establishing of a hierarchy and relationship goes on for longer than initial meetings in any event and goes on for a couple of weeks and can fail during this time.

It sounds like there has been an issue between those two, so won’t be able to live together as a herd of six, and you would be better off to keep them as a herd of four and a pair.
