Hi

I'm in the process of making an upper level for my boars c&c cage. However I'm stuck on how I bend grids into a U-shape to make a ramp? The grids have no give at all and I don't see how I can bend them without breaking it.

Hi, you can score them with a Stanley knife which makes bending them a lot easier, just be careful not to cut too deep.

I have not tried it, so this is mainly guess work, but I would fill the sink with hot hot water and warm them up a bit - might make them give? and then I would try bend them over something to help make the U shape without the danger of folding and snapping if you see what I mean?

Looking round the house I would try over the bannisters! Or the doorway? hope that makes sense :)

I bent one of my grids to make a hay rack. I used a towel on the grid and my knees on the towel and slowly bent it. You have to do it slowly. And also make sure that you don't try to bend the side of the grid where the join is or it will snap. There is a video on you tube that's what I followed.
