How do I avoid the mess when I give my piggies floor time?

They poop everywhere they go and if they pee on the carpet it's really hard to get the stain out, can someone help? How do I avoid all this?

Hi! I have wood floors and just put fleeces down, but when we had carpet I used to put plastic groundsheets down, (like the kind you use for camping) then fleeces on top. In the rooms with tiles on the floor such as the kitchen and utility, I just sweep up poos and quickly spray mop/wash the floor when they go back in their enclosure...

Mine free range and so I have a tin of carpet spray for after the run if needed and a very overworked vacuum cleaner.

Mr Poop and Mr Pee were having a run around the conservatory while my old Mum visited this afternoon (she loves to see them). Luckily we have wipeable wood floors in there!
