Over the past week i think that Joey and Gizmo have been grooming one another. They have both been nibble/chewing one another's fur and it sounds like they are munching on hay. Is this grooming or barbering? Ive not seen any fur on the floor and their fur doesn't look cut or shorter.

Ive tried looking for information on how guinea pigs groom but cant seem to find any. mallethead

Wilma takes the fur in her mouth, and kind of tugs it between her teeth, You see the fur being pulled away from the body if that makes sense?.

They also lick and nibble behind the ears....

Yip this is what i am seeing, they both tug on the fur and then kinda of munch on it? But like i said i cant see any on the floor. They haven't done it this much before and sometimes Gizmo leaves green marks on Joey's white fur from the hay in his mouth! :))

I think pigs eat the fur when they barber another pig, not sure but I was under that impression.

It sounds like the same thing as what Wilma does and I assume thats grooming... I always knew your boys were gay ;). :))
