As above, hehe! :))

Does it need fixing or can it just slide in?! If anyone has done it before could you give me some pointers please? It's an outdoor hutch xx

i used a 4" vent cover fixing on each side without the actual vent cover fixed on (helps than my husband works at an electrical wholesaler so he found just what we needed :)) ), screwed in place and the tube wedged over the ends to hold it on. if the hutch was floor level i would probably have just pushed it through but with it being a height i was worried if it dropped or got pushed out its over 2ft drop to the floor. best to be safe than sorry :)

This is something I have considered in the past as I do have a spare 4 foot outdoor hutch now Monty lives indoors and will not be going outside again - wondering about making a hole in side of both hutches and adding a tube.

My DIY skills are very poor and have not got the right kit for the job so plans only an idea but something I might look into.

Mind you would need a big tube for Melvin and Parsnip to squeeze throughrolleyes:))

Might look into it for next winter as would give more space for them but they will no doubt get terratorial and live in 1 hutch each.

Originally thought I'd keep the hutch for another pair but nowadays I'd want 5 foot plus for any future guineas.

Puts thinking hat on!

Hi

I've done it by adding a tunnel from runaround.co.uk. I had some weldmesh so made my own panels to connect them, piccy below
