Well for 2 you need 4x2 so I think you're fine with what you have! I have a double story 5x2 and it is huge! Plenty of space for three pigs on one level!

Thanks for your help i only have one guinea at the moment but I'm thinking of getting two more for company for her as her sister died a week ago and i hate to think of her being lonely x
