How big of a cage?

How big if I cage do I need for four guineapigs? Rightnow I have two pigs but I'm gettig two more Wednesday. They come outt and get floor time every day.

Thanks! Also would that be one level? Or could you devide it into two levels? Right now my cage is almost 2 grids by about 4 1/2 grids, so could I just put in a upper level? Or should I make a new base?
 
if you are using C&C caging you can make it two levels........... the site i sent you is for a single level........... so you know the exact space that's suitable :)

if you need advice on C&C up the top in housing you'll find some fab ideas, or if in doubt just ask more questions i'm sure somebody who's done C&C can help (my OH made my girls house, it's not from c&c, it's wooden and persplex) :)

sorry just re read your post mallethead................. i'm sure you could combine this and make it two level with same space............. just have to be a bit clever :))x) yeah put on another level they'd probably love it! my girls loved it when i did our second level tier mezzanine floor :)

Thanks! Yes I'm are mine will love it as there I made there hiddie house and it's sorta two levels and they like running up and down the ramp or jumping off the top into the hay then back up :) although they wont be able to jump down I'm sure they'll still like it :) thanks for everything!
