My two boys just seem to eat and sleep when they are in there cage and love playing in there hay together, but that's all they seem to do is either be eating or sleeping! Is this normal? I do hide treats about the cage and they go off searching for them but once they have found them all they go back to sleep! They come out everyday for floor-time and are out for at least 4 hours and they explore the floor area and I have tunnels, tents, paper bags, hide food and they seem pretty active when they come out and sometimes they go back into there bed for a nap and then come back out to do some more exploring.
Is this ok or they inactive? malletheadMy dad sometimes says they are lazy and all they do is sleep and eat! :pI think they will be 2 in December.
Does anyone else have piggy's like mine?

Fred just sits in his paper bag.. so... mine would be less active!

They are perfectly fine, you are a fab piggy mummy! Stop stressing! Your boys are class! :(|)

i worry about mine as they will play in their cage but when we get them out they just sit there or hide if they can they dont wander around and play

Mine are the opposite but they do love recking there clean cage every day I clean it they have to jump and push the hay everywhere before they are happy! Haha. :)

your pigs are perfectly fine!:) piggies eat and sleep:(|) but they give you their affection............AND turn you into a cavy slave...:))

My girls loves to eat and poop. Sleep, not so much, atleast not when I'm watching. Everyday they run around chasing each other too, so I guess they are a little active. I love when they run around in circles, haha!
