Eweryone, please post photos of your cages, pens and different housing areas in this thread, thx. I’m looking for ideas for toys, hiding places and cages

Here's my cage with some of the huts etc removed (I was photographing the ramp and liners) so you can see the scale:

See this for more on ramps: Ramps In Guinea Pigs Cage

Tubes are great fun for piggies and encourage exercise and play.

Hut/hide wise, their all-time favourite is this castle which they adore both inside and on top:

Anything soft and cuddly is a hit, especially if it has a top/roof:

Ones that can be chewed are good too:

What kind of cages are you looking for? There is a thread of C&C cages on the forum where many members, past and present, have shared images of their set ups

This is the one I am currently using

Its not identical as mine is an older one and has been modified. We have blocked in one of the downstairs doors and added a bedroom area from when we needed to split them into two pairs. We have also added high sides and carpet to the ramp to make it piggy friendly.

My c and c cage on top of ikea tables with lino, fleece and hay trays. Home to two sows and a neutered boar.

Hope you don't mind me asking, have they been outside in this all winter? I've got a very similar one, and I brought mine indoors when it started to freeze because their ears felt cold despite having a thermal cover. But they've got much less space indoors so it would be good news to know I've been over-cautious.

Brought my pigs in obviously not my hutch!

This is my set up for three girls
They also have the run of my dinning room at weekends with a foldable nylon puppy pen as ‘den’ and eating/sleeping/toileting quarters. This only has cardboard boxes as hides with tunnels around the room floor

Where did you source your wire panels from? I've found some on Amazon but they are 8x8 not 9x9.
Thanks

Not out the in garden. It is doesn't get too bad then they stay out as it usually stays fairly mild where I am but that cold snap that came over from Russia was too much. They are in the garage now in the hutch until spring

I bought everything (grids, connectors, black cable ties, correx) from candcguineapigcages.co.uk

Today i cleaned our two pens. My six pigs spend most of the day in the two pens but at night i put them in Their 3 cages temporarily:

That's what I did but this hutch was too big for the garage so they are in a 4ft single-storey one and have started to properly squabble. Think I will just have to give them as much time as possible out in the pen in the conservatory to give them a bit more space until it's warm enough to live outside again.

Oh, I hope they will get used to the smaller amount of space until it’s warm outside.

60?! Holy moly, how big is your cage going to be? Mine is 7x2 and even if it had base and lid it would only use 46!

I didn't know how many it would use lol! Got plenty spare that way in case I wanted another for the spare room etc.

Might even use one lot as a shoe rack
