Hi everyone,
I'm very new to this and we haven't even got our piggies yet! I'm looking at indoor definately over the winter and I have just inhereited one of these of gumtree for next to nothing for the summer.

Would a nero3 deluxe be big enough or do I really need to go for the nero4?

Any opinions help would be greatly recieved.

Many thanks Sarah x

Might be helpfull to post a link to the nero3 because not everyone is familiar with cages as alot of us use C&C <- have you looked into this?

If you tell us the size we can direct you further :D

I would go for the nero 4, i had one and it meets the minimum requirements for 2 piggies, 4ft by 2ft :)

Unfortunatly the nero3 doesnt meet the minimum cage requirements for two piggies. The main reasons for these requirements are
- more space reduces bickering
- gives more space for exercising (when you see them popcorning you will know what thats for mean! :)) )
-Also if tiffs every do break out its important to have two hideys, two food bowls, two water bottles and two toys. (so they dont argue)

For these reasons the nero 4 would be SOO much better for a pair. :)

I do urge you to considers C&C as its considerably cheaper (there is now a lady on here who sells full kits so you dont need to sorce the equipment seperatly) And it can fit any space you have. :)

Having just read your latest post i understand not wanting a C&C hehe.

I often wonder how the faces pop up! hehe. I'm pretty sure you can make them with lids, i had a loose lid for my dog to begin with (it wasnt cat proof though)

Also, it might be best for you to try and sorce the mesh grids so no cat paws get through. :) Using bull dog clips to close the lid might also be safer.
