I've noticed from some fab photos on this site there are some lovely things to add to my cages, things like Guinea Pig street and mini bunting. Please can anyone tell me where I could get this type of thing from as I think it looks so cute :)

If you go on eBay and type in patchwork squares, it comes up with squares of fabric in gorgeous patterns that you can cut into triangles and sew to some ribbon. Its cheaper than buying out and means you get the pattern you want.

I'm making my own this way with help from my sewing machine :))

If your not very crafty I will happily make you some xx

I bought some mini-bunting on Ebay - it was only £6.00. I'm too lazy to attempt to make it. And I'm going to buy some fairy lights too for their cage.

Little craft shops/garden centers are the best for things like this. If I had a pound for every time I saw 'awh, how cute is this' in a garden center, well... :)

I've been to two garden centres today and found nothing apart from baby Gps being sold for £26 each!

See what you mean about the pretty patchwork material on ebay, I may just look for the ready made stuff as I'm soooo useless at sewing anything apart from buttons x

And now I've just googled guinea pig décor and its shown me some horrific images of cooked piggies, I'm shocked and now crying :0:0:0

Why would anyone do this ? :(

Its their culture in south America and is considered a delicacy, its like pork or beef overhear x they're upsetting images but its what happens they arent pets over there

Excuse my ignorance, just didn't expect to see it. I didn't think they still ate them, I understand its the same as what we do over here, just shocked me :( x
