Hi! :)
I recently wrote in another thread about how summer temperatures can climb up to 120 degrees Farenheight.
We also tend to have a lot of blackouts during the summer.
Last year, we had one when it was about 118 degrees outside. We swam in the pool with the dogs, but walking into the house was like hitting a brick wall. It was at least 5 degrees warmer in the house than outside.
What I am concerned about is what I will do with the piglets.
I am not comfortable taking them outside, especially during the late afternoon when the blackouts usually occur.
There are a TON of mosquitos during the summer, not to mention bees and hawks. Now I have to worry about murder hornets. What next!?
Later into the evening, we have foxes, coyotes, mountain lions, and many other predators roaming around the hills.
Blackouts mean no electricity whatsoever. No A/C and no fridge for ice.
I am honestly super worried. Blackouts are inevitable during summer and I need help.
Thank you! :)

A thread on hot weather has recently been bumped to the top. Have a look for it and read through the advise there. Good luck!
