i would like to make my boy, Cocoa, a snuggle sack. I was going to sew a tube, then hot glue over the outside edge, so it doesn't immediately fall apart. Will cocoa ingest the glue and get sick? Does anybody know any good snuggle sack or cuddle cup patterns? Thanks!

If you sew the edges of the fleece there really is no need to hot glue them as well.
Fleece is fantastic because it doesn't fray, so even if the edges aren't perfect, your piggie won't mind at all.

If you search on You Tube you will find lots of cuddle cup and snuggle sack tutorials.

Lots of members have shared their favorite patterns and stuff they have made here;

Okay awesome! Will post it soon :)

I wouldn't use glue on anything near piggies. They are regular naughty nibbles and unless it is pet safe (unlikely) could be toxic.
Fleece doesn't fray, and it's fine to have seams inside the snuggle sacs. As others have said above snuggle sacks are simple to make (or there are some amazing members on here who make them for you!)

Okay :) I'm making mine out of fleece so it should work out juuust fine. Thanks for the tips!

Just remember to hot wash the fleece a few times (without fabric softener) before you cut it and make your snugglies as it may shrink and also you want it to wick the pee away!

I'm sorry? I only asked. Sorry if I misunderstood, but it's hard to read your tone through typed words.
I think you have totally misunderstood... I was just stating that they are quite easy to make .. I use you tube as a guide for loads of stuff when I can't figure out how to make things.... I wasn't using any 'tone' .. sorry

I agree with @artcasper You Tube is fantastic for tutorials.
These days whenever I want to make anything I always search there first, and I fnd it much easier to watch the steps than read a pattern (but that might just be because my sewing skills are a bit limited!).

My sewing skills are a bit limited too. I have bought some wonderweb and will be ironing round the edge of the fleece that I am making cage liners with.

I also agree that youtube tutorials are brills.

Oh, no no no! I just misunderstood you. I'm so sorry! Please forgive me. I'll be checking YouTube now, thanks!
