i've had 3 lessons and i am riding on my own already
I know the rising trot, start, stop, shortening the reins (although i cheated once ::) ) steering and some other things

I rode sam the pony twice but hes too small for me so i rode Bindy a 14.1 h pony, I'm 5ft 4 1/2 with quite longs legs so Bindy was okay with me but shes VERY cheeky! She kept on going over to the grass and eating it so i had to stop her and then start her again! ::)

But she was very friendly

At the stables they have a mother and a lamb in a small pen to keep an eye on them and some orphaned lambs and the mother licked my hand, it was sooo cute

I ♥ horse riding!
 
i used to go horse riding when i was younger then stoped as i paid for it out my pocket money and it became more than i had pocket money. then i wanted to start again but found out i was pregnant, so it got put off again, now i have to move homes a.s.a.p so i won't be able to start again untill I'm moved and settled. i love horses and would have loads if they were cheaper to keep ;D ;D
 
I had several horses when I was young and when I couldn't keep them any longer I carried on riding at various riding schools, I was still riding up till I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter. Also did 5 riding holidays inbetween everything else.

I'm gonna get pictures next week of whoever I'm riding, i ♥ sam but hes too small for me but i have a close bond to him cos he was the first one i rode and hes so calm and i just love him so much but bindy is more my height and shes so cheeky!

this reminds me of my chinchillas bubbles is lovely and biscuits is cheeky! but i got bubbles first!

Awww! I'm getting a job so I can start riding again :) Mum wont pay or me >:(
 
I love horse riding, wish I could go somewhere an do it! I know how to ride a horse, i've done it quite a few times lol
 
Ive been riding since I was 7 years old... I just wish it wasnt so expensive... it costs me $40 to go riding or 2hrs... total rip of but its soo much fun ;D
 
$40, thats about 30pounds here, so yeah i spose it is abit expensive lol
 
its £14 for an hour where i go, thats not that bad really cos there are more expensive places and i love where i go so much!
 
I get to do trail rides... i pre-pick the horse I want and its ready when I get there ;D
Then I get to spend 2 awesome hours enjoying the beautiul landscape ;D
I LOVE! Horse riding ;D
 
i am scared of horses as they are big and i am petrified that i will get kicked by one :'(
 
my sons fiance Lucy has 5 horses of her own and does competitions, msot of our friends are into horses and do riding but living here on the Isle of wight most people have horse connections, no idea why maybe the countryside (we have so much of it ) both me and carrie anne prefer pigs , Lucy asks her if she wants her to teach her to ride but shes not interested in them they are cute though i must admit
 
oh she should, its amazing! I always want to go..i wish i could go everyday!

I got kicked once... luckilyit wasnt too hard... i youstay away rom their but you'll be fine ;D
I hate picking their hoofs... I'm scared while I'm leaning down it will kick me in the head ;D
