Today i have brought my guineas a single hutch which goes on top of the run, at the moment theyre just living in a single hutch in the shed. I just want to know if I'm doing the right thing as my girlies get quite nervous easily so i thought at the day time i put them in their new hutch as i put them in just this afternoon and they just stood there for a good 2 hours and just wouldnt move. I'm trying to introduce them but i suppose they just have to get used to it? By the way the hutch in the shed is for them in the winter months, their new one is for the nice weather :)

This is fine, for them, however many, many guinea pigs don't like ramps and I'd assume that it's a ramp that connects them to the run if it's ontop? They may have just been stood there purely because they didn't want to g down the ramp. If you make the ramp a more gentle slope and if possible, add some very grippy material, rungs and/or a barrier down the side of it, it will encourage them to use it.
