I am planning a DIY cage but need to fill some panels with mesh - ideally I would like something available on a roll that can be cut to size rather than a cc fixed grid. I was thinking something along the lines of garden fencing type material - plastic coated mesh, not chicken wire but that sort of thing. Any ideas? I have had a look at the cc grid size notes on one of the pinned posts so would need to check that the hole sizes are safe. Many thanks.

I have bought rolls of steel weld mesh from B&Q before to repair/ refresh old runs. It's not massively attractive - the aviary wire above looks nicer!

I get aviary mesh from ebay in large rolls. You can also get it cut to size (weld mesh its called). Its awful stuff to cut and unroll and hold into place whilst trying to nail it to wood though. I would try to get ready made panels if poss.

Toolstation

I used some on a roll like these. I buy quite a few bits n pieces from toolstation &they're always really reliable. Free delivery over £10 too

They do sell it in panels too if its any easier.

Xx
