I'm thinking of using this in my new spare cage so I can conserve my fitch for the main cage; has anybody else used this? I'm hoping it'll be ok for them just for an hour or two during cage clean, when they move into it for a more permanent stay I'll put fitch into it. I'd also like to know roughly how many packs of the wood shavings I would need for a ferplast 120, from memory they're quite small blocks.

Thanks

I use these all of the time, One should cover the space, but i would use 2 for a thick layer x

I would go for 2 of the large bags. One bag is enough for a decent layer in my hamster cage which is 101cm length.

I buy them for my the trays that are under my chinchilla and hamster cages and they are fine always soft :)

I used about 5 small ones lol. I dont use them anymore though except for hammy poor hammy but scared aubiose will hurt her

I bought 4 packets to be on the safe side, though I will be sparing with it as it is just for a short stay :)
