my three year old boar Percy has been doing a few poops with holes in. Most are normal some are a bit crumbly- what could these holes mean? Some are a bit sour smelling. He is eating and happy. Am I inspecting too closely?

Hi

Please take a deep breath; you are dealing with the most minute of tummy upsets. It will right itself on its own.

If you want more of a guidance, you may find my new guide series helpful which aims at helping you to understand how things work and where they range in terms of normality to severe illness:
Wiebke's Guides to the Body - Normality and common illnesses (this is the access link sticky at the top of the Health/Illness section to which I am going to add to over the coming months and years as time goes by, so you may want to bookmark the link)

You may also find this new guide here helpful in understanding how health and weight monitoring works and how to put any weight loss into its proper individual perspective: Weight Loss Explained: BMI, Weighing, Poos and Feeding Support

The guides are written specifically for new owners and people with anxiety issues but they also offer a new look at how things connect for more experienced owners.
