Hole Size

I'm working on another item for your piggies and wanted to know what is the best size hole to use as access?

4.5" of 11.5cm would accomadate most guinea pigs.

i size it with my hand with my glove on. pull a lose fist, if your hand and glove cant fit, then its unlikely that guinea pigs can either (i have tiny hands. childrens gloves size, ladies are too big.)

My boar, Max is a big boy & when I had a bespoke run made , I asked for 11cm "doors" and he gets through these fine.

So to be safe would you say 4" or 5"

I would say 4 1/2 inches but I think others should have a say too.

I'd say 5" to be on the safe side and accomodate for all piggy sizes.
