Help! There is a hole in my guinea pig's neck. It's under my guinea pigs mouth. She seems happy, but I'm very nervous.

Very strange. . .
Good piggie seems happy. . But you really need to see a vet and found out why and what cause this. . Asap . ..

Please take piggy to the vet. No one can tell you what’s wrong through just your description and neither are they qualified to do so.

Please have your piggy vet checked; it could be at a wild guess a burst abscess or cyst.

However, this requires a hands-on examination and diagnosis and any necessary medication, none of which we cannot provide (especially sight unseen) nor are we qualified to replace a vet. We can only tell you when and how quickly to see a vet and support you with practical tips during the treatment for a hopefully good and full recovery.

Please also remember that the sooner you can have your piggy seen and treated the less chance there will be of complications like infections taking hold.

Please take your guinea pig to your exotics veterinarian as soon as possible they will be able to diagnose/ treat the issue.
