Hoarse wheeking but no other symptoms.

My 7 almost 8 week old baby boy has a hoarse voice. But otherwise he’s eating really well, drinking water. I give him 0.5 ml of child life liquid vitamin C everyday. He’s not so active after his cage mates sudden passing yesterday morning. But up until yesterday, he’s always done zooms around the cage, jumped, popcorned. It’s always been a cute thing he did every night. His poops are really healthy too. Should I just make him a vet appointment?

I am very sorry for your loss. A hoarse voice is in itself not an illness symptom although it is unusual in one so young.

Please have him vet checked if you have any worries after the loss of him mate. How long have you had your babies?

Unfortunately only had the 1 1/2 year old for 3 weeks. I’ve had the baby for just over 3 weeks now.
