Hi. I have four guinea pigs that live in a bedroom which is close to a bathroom. An electric toothbrush is plugged in the wall in that bathroom. Recently I noticed that the electric toothbrush, when plugged into the wall, emits a quiet high-frequency sort of buzzing sound. I could barely hear it when everything was quiet, but I learnt that some animals hear higher-frequency sounds much better than humans do. The pigs don't seem to bothered by it, but I don't think they've ever experienced a time when it wasn't going. Is this annoying or even a health hazard to the pigs?

Thanks,

If it doesn't appear to bother or upset them then they are probably fine with it.
It is nice that you thought about it though.
