Hello! My name is Nicky and I'm from the North East of England. I used to own guinea pigs when I was younger, now years later with young kids of my own I remembered how much I loved them. So a year ago I started off with one, but suddenly became just a little obsessed ;D, so now I currently have 2 boars, Pickle (red crested), Mouse (self cream) and 2 sows Poppy (silver Agouti) and Truffle (Abby x) :smitten:

Hi Nicky!

Welcome to the forum. I hope you have fun here and make sone super friends - I certainly have :)

Where abouts are you - anywhere near Berwick?

Hiya! I'm from Stockton in Cleveland, everyone here seems really friendly, and am looking forward to meeting lots of piggie lovers like myself  x

Ah, just thought I'd check :)

Berwick is one of my most fave places :smitten:

Is that Berwick-upon-Tweed? I was useless at Geography ;D! Is that your Piggie in your picture - he looks gorgeous! I'm trying to download a pic of my pigs but it won't let me as it says i'm using too much memory, oh well, I'll sort it out later O0

Hi Nicky, I'm also Nikki regardless of my title!
I'm also pretty new on here although everyone is great :smitten:
If you go into picture gallery there is instructions on how to put your pics on here, it helped me

Yes, that's the Berwick ;D

The piggie in my pigture is my darling Doctor Atkins. He became an angel on 28th Feb 2006. He was a very beautiful guinea. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

What a sweetheart he looked :-* My beautiful Martha the Coronet joined rainbow bridge last year :'( my youngest still asks when he's coming back, bless, but we get the photos out and it does you good to talk about them, doesn't it. They are still here with us :) but just in a different room, if you know what I mean, :-* time is a great healer, but its no shame to still miss them so, is it :smitten: each piggie is so different and remembered in their own special way, I'm sure they know that they were and still are loved :smitten:

Thank you. Dr was an amazing guinea. I had to syringe feed him for the last two months of his life. It was awful. He had such a personality even when he was so ill. If you look through Photo Gallery you will see photos of Angel-Dr's grave - looks like a florists ;D

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss too. The pain is unbearable.

Wow, it sounds like Dr had the best care possible, and now he's passed he's remembered so perfectly in his own special place :smitten:

RIP Coronet :'( sadly missed but never forgotten :'( :-*
Your other furbabies sound just beautiful :-* :-* :-* :-*
