Hi

Please contact your vet now over a coming home to a badly swollen conjunctiva. You will need a proper assessment and likely prescription-only antibiotic eye drops or gel.
I've got her in the vet tonight just thought it was very strange considering she was fine earlier today.

Eye infections can develop and deteriorate very quickly, which is why they are generally prioritised by UK vet and if possible fitted in as soon as possible. Good that you can be seen tonight. All the best!

It is either the conjuctiva or infection gunk from further back around the eyeball pushed forward. But that is for a vet to assess. All the best!

Good luck at the vets. I’m sure it will soon be on the mend with such prompt attention by you. Well done.

That’s good.
The eye drops for haypoke work quickly.
Sounds as if you caught it very early- well done

Well done for getting her an appointment quickly.
I've recently had 2 piggies with hay in an eye. Both healed up quickly once the offending hay was found and removed.
Sending your piggy healing vibes.
