Help?

Hi everyone?

Today Fudge has been a bit strange, When myself or my parter try to get him out he is now running away. He has also started chattering teeth at us and raising his back leg (not sure if that has any significance?) and biting at his cage? Just seems really out of character for him he hasnt been like this before? Everthing else seems normal eating and drinking wise?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well... That's a very upset piggy by the sound of things...
Is he with another guinea pig...?
If he is does he have any signs that they have been fighting...?

we did have another male piggie, however the fighting was terrible and they had to be separated after only a few days. The other piggie now has a new home. He has been gone for a week now and this is the first day fudge has done this?:...

Has anything scared him...?
Loud noises etc...?

Is he sat huddled up with his fur fluffed out...?
That is a sign of pain and/or illness and that can stress them out...

emm well we have had a thunder storm today? suppose that would be loud! I dont know about huddled up but he has been sqeezing himself right into the corner of his cage! Poor wee lamb!

Oh bless him... He defiantly sounds stressed out about something...
Just keep a close eye on him...
Cover his cage over with a blanket and give him some quiet time...

okay so i thought we had got over fudge's strange little time! But tonight i brought him out to clean him so we were just having a cuddle when he bit me just before he bit me he made this noise like he was blowing his nose? Whats going on with my wee fudgie doodle?

Did he give any warning...? Like teeth chattering before he bit you...?

Does he look poorly at all...? Snotty nose... Crusty eyes... Wheezy etc...?
Is he eating okay...? Pooping okay...?

When he bit you did it break the skin or was it a nip...?
Some piggies will nip if they need a wee and want to get back in their cage...

Oh bless him... I wish I had some answers for you...

nope no warning what so ever except he blew his nose at me. I had literally only picked him up about a minute before.

No doesn't seem poorly at all seems to be eating and drinking fine, defo pooping plenty.He had a couple of orange wee's but that seems to happen when he has beetroot.

Was just a nip but i got a fair fright feardy that i am!

I know wee lamb that he is! Just want him to be happy 8...
