hi well i house a male and female together dw its safe no babies will come, however i thought another female would be a lovely bf for her, but oh no she went at her so bad it was so scary i put my hand in and was the one who got bitten and blood drawn :( man did it hurt, the funny thing is the male split them up he went in the middle and chatted to one and than the other and they stop for a while to he left, the girls are sep but now one is lonely :(, i want to know how can i get the females to like another, and why did the male do that lol and why did this happen in the begging it was a brand new cage none been in they before lilly pad never chatted at other male pigs she meet as a play date so i do not understand :( why would she hate a female

Your already bonded sow simply doesn't want to share. Your boy did what the best of the husboars do - try to break up any fights (he'd perfer to have both girls, obviously). Adding a second sow to an already bonded "marriage" can be very iffy. It is the one unsuccessful bonding I ever had.

If blood has been drawn (even if it is yours), I would not try to introduce again. It is bound to go wrong. Guinea pig scan be very particular about who they want to get on with. Not every sow is simply bound to be accepted - which is one of the reasons why I bang on about piggy dating at a rescue so much! That doesn't leave you with the problem what to do with your unaccepted sow when things don't work out...

Is your boar neutered? You are meant to introduce new pigs on neutral ground as putting one into another's cage is like it is been invaded.

well i think the only thing to do is either get another female or rehome the girl, as * said i cant try again, and it was a new cage no one was in there before and the new one was in first so no one owned the cage. and yes the boy is
are you sure i cannot try anything else for i really thought lilly pad would like a sister but she wasnt that glad

its not doomed to fail...
but you need to set up a large space...
like 3 or 4 times the size of the cage... and put lots of food in there for them... really tasty stuff like curly kale etc...
PM for my phone number if you want to chat.. :) i'll talk you through the scenic route of bonding... :))... its not totally doomed... theres still a chance they could get on...
sorry but i really cant type it all out on here as I'm on my phone...
