Hi and welcome, :)

Is she eating and drinking? What is her breathing like? Is she active? Could be a resipitry infection. To be honest could the rabbit have injured her? Its not advised to keep Guineas and rabbits together now. I would whizz her to the vets for a check up. :)

Hope she is ok,

Louise
:)

I'm sorry I can't help...but if I was you I would contact your local emergency vet....can you describe her breathing....is it a rattly (sp) noise ?

i didnt no but they are both from pets at home and they said it was perfectaly fine she is breathing lheavy and every now and then i have to shake her to get her breathing again.

How old is the guinea
How long have you had her
Can you get her to a vet asap, yes it would be an emergency call out
Please take her away from the rabbit, the rabbit can cause her serious injury, and may have done so, which is what is causing the breathing trouble
Is she drinking and eating, or moving around by herself at all?

She either has an Upper respiratory infection, or she could have been damaged by the rabbit, I would advise you get her to the vet
Hope she's OK.... fingers crossed

Hoping everything goes well
Please seperate from the rabbit it is not advised to put togeather.
Anna
All the best of luck

If you have to rouse her to get her to breathe then that is a dire emergency I would get an emergency vet.

OH i do hope she is ok, do they live inside or out, maybe she has caught a cold, has anything changed recently that could have stressed her out?

keep us posted

them

PS welcome to the forum ;)

Take her to a vet asap. If you have to physically shake her to get her breathing then she needs a vet immediatley.

How long ago did you get her? I don't think the fact that you got her from P@H is an issue, but if you got her recently once she's okay and everything its worth mentioning it to them.

Its sounds like a respiratory infection, or as others have said your rabbit may have hurt her. Get to a vet!

I hope gets better soon!

Yes vet, urgently.

Also remember that this is a forum, not a chat room so it might take a while to get a reply. If you are worried about the health of your pet it needs to go to a vet not wait around for forum responses!

sadly she died at the vet they said she had crushed ribs and i no it is my fault i am so ashamed of myself i cost her her life.
They let me take her home and i have buried her in my garden.
