I'm new here and i saw something that scared me with my pet guinea pig , Brownie.

I saw that a part of his nose was bleeding alot and it looked like it his nose was ripped :(

What do i do? :/

You will need to try to stop the bleeding, and keep the wound clean but he does need to see a vet - urgently if it is bleeding a lot.

Please do try to get him a character compatible cage mate. Guinea pigs are highly social and must always be kept in pairs.

Does it live outside? Maybe another animal tried to get into the cage? A rat or cat maybe and scratched it? If that’s possible I’d put some extra wire mesh on the hutch. Hope it’s stopped bleeding and your piggy is ok.
