Sorry to bother you, I'm new to this forum but one of my guinea pigs nibbled a little bit off a peace lily! I've heard they're highly poisonous and I really have no idea what to do. I can't believe I let one of them near one! Argh. Anyway, he seems okay for now but I scheduled a vet appointment which will be very soon. What do I do as of now? He seems healthy and is eating and drinking fine.... What should I do??
Note: I don't know if it makes a difference but it was only a little piece, not even half a leaf, still I am SO worried for him....

Keep an eye on him over the coming days. If he starts acting out of the ordinary then you should get him to a vet. You’ve got one scheduled so you can keep it for a general check anyway. Hopefully what he ate was not enough to cause issues.

Hello and welcome to the forum
Hope your piggie is alright, keep a very keen eye on him, fingers crossed 🤞 he will be fine x
