help!

hiya,i have just brought a half bale of hay,open it up to find itlooks like straw but it says hay ,is there hay that looks like straw?

I don't think so :-\ as straw is barley /wheat stalks

I have the same problem I bought a big value pack from P@H and it looks and feels exactly like straw and they dont seem to be eating as much as they used to?

I guess it's just bad quality? Hay is meant to be green.

Then again, you can get some more golden, stalky hays...soo, maybe it's a different type?

Probably not very fresh I always take from the back and check it before I buy it dont worry too much!
