Help!

very concerned that my year old boar only weighs 850g and his cage mate (same age) weighs 1100g. Yet the smaller one is def boss and always eating!?

It's not what weight they are it is if they are a steady weight.One of my boars is a lot smaller than the other.Weigh the smaller one every day if you are worried at the same time and monitor his weight, he may just be a small piggy

I had a small boar.. He never weighed more than 800g. As long as he holds his weight i wouldnt worry.

If all is well in the eating and pooping department , l wouldent be concerned , like
Humans, pigs come in shapes and sizes

My chewy is 8 months old and only weighs 795g he eats and poops normal so I'm not concerned. I currently have 8 boys and I can see the different weights in all of them

Thank god I thought that they all had to be over 1000g

Not always.. My late boar was never more than 800g adult weight, yet my Poppet (a sow) is currently 1000g at 8 months old.. She is bigger than he ever was. It just depends on the piggy x
