Hello! We have four sweet little 2-weekers who we are trying to sex so we can prepare to separate. Dad is now fixed. Mom is not. We have been trying to sex them ourselves but would LOVE some more expert opinions since we are new GP owners. Please let me know if I should provide any more photos for any of these lil guys. Thanks in advance for your help!

1 - Junior (we think he is a boy)

2 - Roo (we think he is a boy)

3 - Wooly Bear (really uncertain with this one?)

4 - Oreo (we think this is a girl)

Hi and welcome

I think that you are right but I would like to see a little more of a peak into the slit if you can provide that.

Here are our reference 2 weeks old slit pictures:

Boars vs sows - you can clearly see the female Y groove, peaky knob and fleshy seal at the bottom compared to the button round penis shaft and straight slit. It is generally much easier if you have both genders and both parents for comparison.

Both baby boys also should have a tiny penis ridge under their skin (about basmati rice sized) - try dad first.

Please make sure that dad is over 6 weeks post-op before meeting his ladies again. My Tegan, the little baby in my avatar picture on the left (2011-19), was the unplanned legacy of a supposedly safe over 5 weeks post-op boar (not one of mine), just to prove that point.
Here is the link to our very helpful step-by-step bonding guide:

Thank you.

The vet did not tell us about the 6 week post-op separation. I hope we are not too late! We will take more photos tonight and repost them here. We greatly appreciate the help!

How long ago was dad neutered?
Is dad still in a cage by himself ready for any baby boys to go in with him?

He is now! He was neutered a couple of weeks before she had the babies. I haven't seen him trying to mate with her, but still... frustrating the vet didn't say anything.

Was he still with her when she had the babies? If he was, she will need to go on pregnancy watch as they are fertile again almost immediately after giving birth.

unfortunately yes, what do you mean by pregnancy watch? Is there a specific procedure I should follow, other than separation?

Thanks again for your help! Here are some photos. We had a couple penis reveals, so I think I can confidently say 1. Junior and 2. Roo are boys. Can you confirm if 3. Wooly Bear is a boy and 4. Oreo is a girl with these photos?

Also for cuteness... I present... Wooly Bear <3

Adorable ♥️
I'm not experienced enough to make any comments on gender, one of the experts will be along later as it's the early AM here.
You should assume she's pregnant at the moment, again I will leave it for the more experienced people.
As you are checking the babies now I assume you know the boys need to be separated at 3 weeks old or when they weigh 250g, whichever comes first. The weighing gives a smaller boy a little extra time.

I did know about separating at 3 weeks old, but I did not know about the weight. Thanks! These boys are really going to miss their mama. She's so sweet with them ❤️

Unfortunately if dad was not 6 weeks post surgery when they went back together, given sows go into season just hours after giving birth, then unfortunately she is likely pregnant again.

You will need to mark 10 weeks from the day she gave birth to these babies and plan for there to be a second litter.
