planning to make a balcony over the rabbits floor area to the Piggies cage ( they live above the rabbit cage). whats the best wood for the 'floor' and support legs? they got to be safe as the rabbit will end up chewing the supports! The floor will have a plastic covering then a sofa throw which the piggies have claimed! I'm thinking Foamex for this surface but dont know if its safe. if its not where can i get the plastic for the floor?

Not sure if this helps but I have buns with pigs on top. I use a 48inch crate for the buns with an ikea table and put my C&C over the top.

I don't really understand what you are trying to do, could you explain a little more?

At the moment i have a rabbit 140 cage from pets at home which leon the rabbit lives in. he also has a rectangle area outside his cage so he isnt caged in all the time when I'm at work. The Piggies live in a rabbit 100 cage which is on top of the rabbit one. but dont have any area they can have a stretch in other than the cage which isnt enough really. So i want to make a level above the rabbit cage and the floor space he has which will need supporting legs so it doesnt all topple! This is only for whilst I'm at home. When i am in i try to altinate the floor time between the 3 of them. The rabbit is too young and excitable to safely let all 3 out for floor at the same time. I will try yo get a photo and a drawing of what i planning tonight. I'm in my office at work atm and cant upload here.
