My 11 month old GP has been excreting white powdery substance. I always find it on his fleece. And today, as I was cleaning out his cage, I notice his poo also had some white excretions. Should I remove all veggies from his diet for the time being?

I don’t know about the poo part, but white powdery things might be calcium deposits, and they are normal. Could you maybe attach a picture?

White deposits could be excess calcium and while It is normal for excess calcium to be excreted, if it is feeling gritty or happens a lot then it could be worth having a vet check done but also reviewing the diet.
Keep pellets strictly limited to one tablespoon. Perhaps change brand if the ones you use are higher in calcium
Ensure you filter the drinking water.
Unfiltered water and pellets contribute a lot of calcium to the diet so keeping those things in check can help greatly.
Ensure high calcium veggies are kept limited to once per week only and only in small amounts.
Any diet changes can take weeks to have an effect, but it’s certainly worth having a look at if there are any changes that need to be made
