Hi all,

Just a bit of advice. Never seen this before but I took my guinea pigs blanket out to wash it and there’s a really watery brown stain on it. I am assuming it is their toileting and nothing else?

Sorry for the picture! Is this just like the equivalent of an upset tummy? They’re 6 months and never done this before. Do I need to be concerned? I haven’t seen any other marks like this. I also don’t know which guinea pig it is.

I’m now starting to question if this is in fact blood in urine as a small part looks like a watery red colour? On the white cloud

Hi

Please see a vet as soon as possible (inclduding out of hours services). Fluid diarrhoea counts as an emergency.

Please read the care information on diarrhoea in this guide here: Digestive Disorders: Diarrhea - Bloat - GI Stasis (No Gut Movement) And Not Eating

All the best!

Good luck. I hope you get on ok at the vets. ❤️
