Hi,

I'm after a bit of help really

I'm getting my first guinea pigs soon, but am having a bit of trouble finding a decent hutch.

I need to be able to order one online, from a place that will deliver (happy to pay for delivery)

But i'm just not sure what one to buy. I'm after one thats quite sturdy, obviously of a decent size to house two guinea pigs, around £100 (although less would be great!), but i'm not sure whether to go for one with one or two floors?
So any recommendations would be great :)

Thanks

if you look on ebay for hutches there are some really nice different styles of cages, corner ones and things (: hand made ones on there are usually cheaper and normally well made, it's were i bought my run for my piggies !

I've had a look on ebay and preloved and haven't been able to find any near me, well, any that don't look like they're been sitting in someones shed for 10 years :(

Edit: I've only been looking at ones near me actually, i'll look as some that can be delivered :D

Have you thought about C&C? Very adaptable, easy to clean and rearrange, and can be made to look fab with fleece liners etc. Has to be inside though of course but I've found that this means piggies become part of the family much more quickly and don't get forgotten. Run time is round the kitchen floor.

I'll most likely be using a C&C cage for the winter/cold days when they can't be outside, but for when its hot i'd like them to be outside as much as possible (most of the time in a run, but otherwise in a hutch)
